Describe your immediate Spring/Summer 2013 Collection.

Our SS13 collection is all about vibrant colors and creative prints. We want each piece to reflect a trendy and youthful sophistication.

What is one “must-have” item from this collection?

The one “must-have” item this season is the cut-out jumpsuit. This piece is a definite statement-maker! It’s chic, comfortable and can easily transition from day to night.

How do you go about deciding which trends are important for the season?

Our design team is constantly on the look out for “who-what-wear.” In other words, what people are wearing from pedestrians on the streets to celebrities on the red carpet and models on the runway. By always being observant of the fashion around us, it allows us to predict which trends and styles are important and worth experimenting with for the upcoming season.

If you could dress a celebrity who you feel fits your product image, who would it be and why?

I would dress Olivia Palermo because she is an expert at mixing trendy pieces with timeless, classic ones. She knows how to balance the various components of style to make an outfit look just right – not too much and not too little. She is always effortlessly chic, which is exactly what Lucy Paris strives to reflect in our brand image.

What is your personal fashion philosophy?

Dress codes don’t exist. Every woman should dress for herself – as if it’s for her own runway show!

What three items are essential to you during market week?

Three essential items for me during market week are vibrant print pants, a flirty lace top, and one of our quirky A-line dresses.
