Describe your Immediate Holiday/Resort 11-12 Collection.

Our latest Holiday 2011 collection is about mixing comfort with style. We use the newest fabrics in hachi, low gauge sweater knits and the latest woven prints with updated silhouettes. As the customer continues to look for value and fashion, attention to detail with the use of trims, sequins, patches, and burnout designs are important parts of this collection.

What was the inspiration behind this collection?

The inspiration behind this collection was a trip to the flea market. I love all the unique vintage finds there. Each item has character and memories attached to it and most likely you won’t be able to find another one like it anywhere else.

What is your “must-have” item this season?

From our current collection, I would say my must-have item for this season is the poncho top with sequins trim.

What is your personal fashion philosophy?

My personal fashion philosophy is simple: “Wear what makes you feel good – inside and out.”

What do you think will draw retailers to your collection this season?

Retailers will be drawn to Lovemarks because of our use of the newest fabrications, our price points, and being on-trend with the latest fashions.

If you could dress a celebrity who you feel fits your product image, who would it be and why?

I would love to dress Leighton Meester. She’s classy and feminine, yet youthful and fun. She has this effortless fashion sense that mixes in the latest trends with pieces that will last a lifetime.

What three items are essential to you during market week?

Three items essential to me during market week are definitely my iPhone because I can’t go anywhere without being connected, my make-up bag, and snacks to keep me energized throughout the day!
